2010
Incorporated as WesTech Process Equipment India Pvt. Ltd. on 13 December 2010 as a subsidiary of WesTech Engineering LLC., USA.
2011
Start of Business on 01 April 2011. First Order for one 30 m dia and one 8 m dia HiFlo® Thickeners received on 15 April 2011
2012
Received first order for one 34 m dia Solid CONTACT CLARIFIER®. Participated in the Inaugural Conference of IBAAS (International Bauxite, Alumina and Aluminium Society) -IBAAS-2012 held at JNRDC, Nagpur. Showcased our Alumina capabilities
2013
Participated in MPT-2013 Conference and Exhibition as a Bronze Sponsor. Started ‘Thickened Tailings Disposal’ campaign by introducing Paste Thickener technology through presentation of several technical papers during the conference. Continued the campaign by conducting bench-scale paste thickening test work at various iron ore beneficiation facilities.
2014
Received order for India’s first Thickened Tailings Disposal by Paste Thickening from Sri Bajrang Power and Ispat Ltd. for their Tilda facility. Supply and Services included one 14 m dia DeepBed® Paste Thickener and design of the paste transportation and storage facility. Development of technology and process equipment for Pulp & Paper industry based on agricultural residue like wheat straw and bagasse as raw material.
2015
Showcased the success of SBPIL Thickened Tailings Disposal (TTD) at the :Conference on Raw Material Security for Iron and Steel” organized by FIMI at Goa on 6 November. This success story led to repeat order from SBPIL for their Borjhara facility and orders from several new Customers. Received orders from Satia Industries Ltd. – Paper Division for Pulp Drum Washers for Washing and Bleaching of wood pulp, Revamping of Recausticizing Plant, Disc Filters and Solid Contact Clarifiers
2016
Kuantum Paper selected WPEIPL to provide them Process Equipment like Continuous Digester, Screw Press, Wash Press and Pulp Drum Washers for their Demonstration Pilot Plant for Cellulosic Ethanol production from wheat straw.
2017
Strategic Alliance with GE Water, India to provide them Solid Contact Clarifiers and Detritors for their various domestic and export projects. More than 12 projects were executed for GE Water over a 3-year period. Import substitution of Salt Cake Filter at Satia Industries Ltd. for their Chlorine Di-oxide production plant.
2018
WPEIPL enters the small capacity specialty alumina refinery space of GCACPL by supply of custom designed process equipment like Disc Filters, Pan Filter, Security Filters and Lime Slaking Plant. We also introduced the world’s first Gaudfrin Diastar Filter to replace conventional, gravity sedimentation type White Liquor Clarifier. This technology not only delivers a better quality liquor it also saves on installation space and cost.
2019
Supply of 3 nos 110 m2 Horizontal Belt Filters for dewatering of Iron Ore coarse tailings to African Natural Resources and Mines Ltd. Nigeria.
2020
Order from Tata Steel Ltd. for Design and Supply of 16 m dia x 26 m high DeepBed® Paste Thickener, Paste Holding Tank and FDS. Also complete design of paste disposal system including selection of multi-stage pumps, paste distribution pipes and the distribution philosophy to maximize the capacity of the tailing storage facility (TSF) at their Khondbond Mines.
2021
More than 8 WesTech DeepBed® Paste Thickeners in operation in India for Thickened Tailings Disposal at various Iron Ore Beneficiation facilities. WPEIPL becomes sole supplier of Settler/Washers, Disc Filter, Pan Filter, Security Filter and MOL system to MKMRPL specialty alumina refinery (small capacity). WPEIPL was chosen by MKMRPL for supply of process equipment for subsequent expansions also.
2022
WPEIPL supplies several 45 m dia Thickeners and 25 m2 Linear Trash Screens to JSW Steel for their Odisha Project.
2023
One of the largest orders for Pulp Drum Filters from Pakka Ltd. (formerly Yash Pakka Paper). Lloyds Metal and Energy Ltd (LMEL) places order for 2 nos 45 m dia Thickeners for their greenfield projects at Hedri and Konsari.
2024
LMEL places repeat order for a 45 m Thickener for their Hedri plant. As Indian Associates of Gaudfrin, France, Aditya Aluminium places order on WPEIPL for the Troughs and Receivers for 3 nos 225 m2 Gaudfrin Disc Filters (7.5 m dia Discs) and 4 nos 76 m2 Gaudfrin Disc Filters for their greenfield Alumina Refinery project. The 225 m2 Disc Filters are the largest in India.
2025
Talks initiated between WPEIPL parent company WesTech Engineering, LLC., USA and Jash Engineering Ltd. for divestment of WesTech USA’s 80% holding in WPEIPL. Repeat order from GCACPL for Disc Filters, Pan Filter, Security Filters and Lime Slaking system for their expansion project. At the request of Satia Paper, WPEIPL designs 6m dia Washer-Pulpers for wet cleaning of wheat straw prior to cooking. These are the largest Washer-Pulpers in the Indian market. Satia places order for 3 nos 6 m dia Washer-Pulpers
2026
Following acquisition of 80% equity from WesTech, USA and 10% equity from the Indian employees by Jash Engineering Ltd., WPEIPL has transitioned into a new identity as Jash Process Equipment Pvt. Ltd. (JPEPL) with effect from 23 January 2026. The transaction included the entire operating business, covering all core technologies, experienced employees including design, engineering, sales and service personnel. The Indian employees hold 10% shares of Jash Process Equipment Pvt. Ltd. JPEPL receives order from Lloyds Metal and Energy Ltd. for a 14 m dia DeepBed® Paste thickener for Thickened Tailing Disposal at their Hedri Plant. JPEPL now has 14 Paste Thickener installations in India for Thickened Tailings.
